FUTURE ARTIST PROGRAM
(piano only, age 14 and under)
The Future Artists program participants will have the unique opportunity to meet and learn from today’s greatest artists, get inspired by legendary musicians, and share their experiences with peers. The participants will have the chance to fully immerse themselves in music, as well as enjoy all that Washington, DC has to offer in their free time.
• A joyful one- or two-week immersive experience designed to help children build a lifelong love for music
• A comprehensive yet age-appropriate curriculum integrating listening, storytelling, creativity, rhythm, and foundational musicianship
• Small-group learning in a nurturing environment where curiosity and confidence are encouraged
• Creative activities connecting music with art, movement, imagination, and nature
• Gentle performance opportunities that build poise, expression, and self-confidence
• A community that values character, sensitivity, and genuine musical understanding — not just technical achievement

Leon Fleisher Academy Summer Strings Program
A collaborative summer string program centered on chamber music, shared learning, and connection. Students work closely with peers and faculty in a supportive environment where listening, collaboration, and musical growth are at the heart of the experience.
7-day immersive summer string program with a focus on chamber music
• Comprehensive instruction including daily group classes, individual lessons, chamber music coaching, and guest masterclasses
Performance opportunities during the summer and throughout the academic year
Academy pass to all events, classes, seminars, and masterclasses.
