Where Music Is Understood, Not Just Played

At Leon Fleisher Academy, we teach students to listen deeply, study the score closely, and discover meaning within the music itself. In the Leon Fleisher tradition, technique serves understanding, and artistry grows from insight. We cultivate musicians who seek depth, truth, and humanity in every note.

• Two-week immersive residency rooted in the Leon Fleisher–Schnabel tradition

• Over 100 hours of open masterclasses and lessons, fostering a shared environment of artistic exchange

• Three individual lessons and one featured masterclass, all conducted in an open studio setting reflecting the Fleisher–Schnabel tradition of shared artistic inquiry

• Chamber music collaboration and coaching, including a 7-day immersive Summer String Program dedicated to ensemble artistry

• Performance opportunities during the summer residency and throughout the academic year

• Professional development seminars, including audience engagement and stage communication

• Official Academy Certificate

TUITION COST FOR U.S. RESIDENTS ONLY
$1680 (two weeks)

Full program tuition cost is USD4350. Due to the generous support of our donors, each accepted participant will receive a USD2670 scholarship toward the cost of attending the program.

• Completed online application form

• A video recording consisting of two contrasting pieces of their choice

• Application fee: $120 (non-refundable)

  Applications are reviewed by faculty as they are received. Applicants will receive a decision within approximately 10–14 days of submitting a complete application.
